Black bean protein patties

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiled black beans
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 cup black or green olives
  • 2 tbsp tomatosauce
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

Prevent the screen from locking

1. Pre-heat oven on 180 degrees Celcius. 2. Add boiled black beans, cooked quinoa, oats, mustard, black or green olives, tomatosauce, garlic to a mixing bowl. 3. Blend it together with a hand mixer until it's a smooth mixture. Add salt and pepper to your own liking. If the mix is too wet and sticky, add a bit more oats. If too dry, you can add a bit more tomatosauce. 4. Make little bowls of the mix and flatten them onto a paper-covered oven tray. Repeat for entire mix. 5. Bake 5 minutes in the hot oven and rotate the patties. Bake them 5 minutes on the other side, or until cursty. Too long in the oven will dry them out, so make sure the oven is hot. 6. Delicious with potatoes à la Jean-Claude, which usually fit in the oven with the patties (but need around 30 minutes in the oven). Enjoy!
