1. Heat up plantbased milk with vegan butter and brown sugar in a pan on low heat and whisk it until lukewarm and milk is melted. 2. Transfer mix in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle dry ative yeast on top and whisk to combine. 3. Cover the bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes (until foamy). 4. Add the flour and salt to the mixing bowl and mix it well with a spatula. 5. Cover and proof for 1 hour, the dough should double in size. 6. In the meantime mix the brown sugar with cardamom and cinnamon. 7. Add flour and knead into a plush ball. 8. Sprinkle surface with flour and rolld dough into a rectangle. 9. Spread the vegan butter on top of the dough and sprinkle the spiced sugar. 10. Roll up the dough and cut into pieces. 11. Place the pieces in a baking tray lined with bakingpaper, with some space in between. 12. Brush the rolls with plantbased milk, cover and let it proof for 15 minutes. 13. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C. 14. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly golden brown. 15. Let them cool and serve them as they are or with icing sugar. Enjoy! Alternative: Of course you can play around with the spices. These proportions were for me the best combo. But you can leave out the cardamom or replace with some ginger powder. Play and find your own best combo!
